Auto-Transhipment
A shipment automatically created by Maestro in order to track the job belonging to another Marken Branch
Cancelled
Event indicating shipment will not take place. Costs by Marken may still be incurred and charges to client may have to be made.
Cleared Customs
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating shipment has undergone all Customs procedures and is ready and available for collection from airport or import point. DO NOT USE in those regimes that permit pre clearance (Wheels up) to avoid confusion.
Consolidated
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating shipment joined with others for movement by an airline or supplier.
Departed
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating Transport method has departed at start of route leg.
Dispatched from Station

Dox Completed by Marken
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating that all paperwork required for shipping, entry or other operation has been completed by Marken staff.
Dox Delivered to Importer
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating that all paperwork required to be completed by importer has been delivered.
Dox Returned by Importer
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating that all paperwork required to be completed has been returned by Importer to Marken, agent or customs broker.
Dox Sent to Destination Gateway
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating that required paperwork has been sent to final arrival or customs entry point.
Dry Ice Checked
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating that a check has been performed that Dry Ice level is within limits.
Dry Ice Replenished
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating that Dry Ice has been added to package(s), including the details of how much (in terms of weight).
Elapsed Time
The time that a shipment has taken between collection and delivery. Important for confirmation of meeting agreed service level such as when the contents is time-sensitive material. Scheduled times (e.g. scheduled collection or scheduled delivery) will be used until actual times (P.O.B. or P.O.D) are available and the elapsed time will be recalculated. This value is available on the shipping manager.
ENR
Estimates Not Required, previously referred to as "Estimates Nil", this can be seen as a checkbox in the "Carrier Costs" section of a Route Leg. For all jobs on that route leg, the corresponding routing lines will have "Est In" ticked
Entry Submitted to Customs
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating that all documentation presented and or electronic customs procedures made.
Estimated Time of Arrival
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating the Arrival details of flight or other transport on a route leg, including the estimated date and time the transport will end.
Estimated Time of Departure
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating the Departure details of flight or other transport on a route leg, including the estimated date and time the transport will start.
ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)

Hoover
Hoover shipments is an option on the Route Leg Manager that is intended to search for jobs with suitable routing but which are not yet assigned to a route leg, and then add them (consolidate) to the selected route leg.
Host Key
A Carrier Key that is used to identify work done by another Marken Branch
Import Granted by MoH
Event (Date, Time & Location) indication the authority to import into country of destination has been approved by MoH. Does not mean shipment is ready and available for collection from transporter
Import Submitted to MoH
Event (Date, Time & Location) to indicate that all documentation has been passed to and or electronic entry given to MoH authority at point of destination.

Known Packaging
Also called "Recognised Packaging". Standardised names for packaging with agreed attributes such as dimensions, and with support for particular temperature and content.
Location Picker
A search box that initially contains "Location" inside it, and when you start typing a few characters a list of matching places will be shown. The list of places will shorten the more you type. Three main location types are shown - Airports, Marken Offices and Places, each with their own icon (Aeroplane, Building and Push-Pin) to help distinguish them. The top hits are normally those whose names START with the entered text. Remaining matches will be listed where the entered text is contained somewhere within the location name
MIB
Acronym for Maestro Internal Billing. A "host key" code, used on the routing tab, to identify the other Marken Branch that will be doing work that will be charged back to the owning (Parent) branch.

MTS
Acronym for Maestro Transhipment; a "child shipment" created for a branch handling a shipment from another Marken branch.

Physical Routing
Carrier Keys have an attribute called "Represents Physical Routing". When a Route Leg contains a Carrier Key, this field will determine whether the Route Leg relates to a Physical Routing or Carrier information.
POB
Abv: Package/Piece/Parcel/Pickup On Board (AKA "collected")
POB - Pickup On Board
Event (Date & Time) to indicate that shipment has been collected at initial shipping point.
POD

Pull Transhipment
A Maestro Transhipment created by the Child branch so that there is a job the Child branch can work on

Received at Station

Recovered
A shipment status, indicating that the item is now back within Marken hands, such as when collected from an airline cargo area, a baggage belt or an integrators office
Scheduled Collection
Event (Date & Time) indicating the Ready for pick up details (entered by person booking or updating job).
Scheduled Delivery
Event (Date & Time) indicating the Required delivery details (entered by person booking or updating job).

Shipping Date
Event (Date & Time) indicating the moment when a shipment will be despatched to a Marken location from the shipper via a 3rd party carrier.
Shipping Manager
TBC Client Account
A Client Account code that can be used when a rapid booking needs to be made. These end in 988 with a two character prefix to identify the Marken Office making the booking.

Turnaround Time (TAT)
The time taken for a shipment to be delivered but with all the allowable factors removed - such as weekends, holidays, out of hours, Force Majeure and so forth, whereas the Elapsed Time (as displayed on the Shipping Manager) is just the straight amount of time calculated from either Booking, Scheduled Collection or POB -> POD
URL
This stands for "Uniform Resource Locator", and is an internet (web) address pointing to something of interest (a "Resource"). In terms of Maestro this could point to the log-in page for example. Maestro explicitly allows you to copy this kind of address for files attached to shipments.
Verification - On Hold
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating awaiting permission from one or more authorities to export or collect shipment.
Verification OK
Event (Date, Time & Location) indicating approval to export or pick up given by all authorities and/or client.
